Served as a member of the Value Based Purchasing Team at the Value Based Purchasing team at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that launched the CMS value-based care initiatives.

Innovation in Information Technology

A member of the leadership team at HealthCircles, Inc., a care coordination platform, that was acquired by Qualcomm as a linchpin in its health care strategy.

Design of Alternative Payment Models

Designed and built the American College of Emergency Physicians proposed alternative payment model, The Acute Unscheduled Care Model (AUCM) that is currently undergoing review by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for implementation. Engaged with the Society of Vascular Surgery to research the complete Medicare Data Set to determine the potential for a Physician Focused Alternative Payment model for vascular procedures performed in the inpatient, office and hospital settings.
