President, SMN Health Policy Insights
Dr. Susan Nedza is a board-certified emergency medicine specialist and clinical informaticist. Her service as Chief Medical Officer for Region V of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Senior Executive at the American Medical Association (AMA), and as a Health Information Technology (HIT) executive and researcher has given her a unique vantage point of the confluence of clinical care, health care delivery models, data science, and health care policy.
Dr. Nedza is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Gannon University and her doctorate from Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine. She also completed the Executive Master's Program at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Chicago.
